Honoring an American restaurant worker who shot a million steaks

A major restaurant company in Georgia, USA, has honored a woman who has worked at the same restaurant for more than 20 years after grilling the millionth steak, during her long career.

Gayle Dudley, who has worked at the LongHorn Steakhouse on Macon Road in Columbus for more than two decades, was surprised to be called into the business by executives from the national chain, rewarded for grilling a million steaks during her tenure there.

According to UPI.

Executives presented Dudley with a $5,000 check, a gold chef's coat, and awarded her the nickname "Grill Master Legend".

A spokesperson for the food company, which operates more than 540 restaurants across the country, said Dudley is one of the employees named Grill Master Legend after cooking one million steaks.

The spokesman did not reveal the number of steaks cooked in all the restaurant's branches distributed in the country.
