If the practice of sport is increasingly encouraged, it is because it greatly contributes to individual and collective development.

And it is not the French judoka Romane Dicko who will say the opposite, she who recognizes that her discipline has allowed her to accept her body and "to hatch".

The double European champion thus shares her “body positivism” (the celebration of the diversity of bodies and of difference) on social networks…

Videos that inspire

“I started judo in heavyweight when I was only 13 years old, when I was minimal, she recalls.

I already weighed 80 kg at the time”.

Complexed by her physique, the young Romane often erased herself because she was then “afraid of taking up too much space, more than I was already taking it physically.

Judo helped me a lot with that, I was able to become aware of my body… and in a rather positive way”.

Very present on social networks – especially on TikTok –, the champion posts videos in which we discover her fulfilled, at peace with her body.

"If, through the fact of being me, I manage to inspire a few people, well that's great," she rejoices.
