On April 25, the man Ran Moumou arrived with his wife and children from Chongqing to the Rong County Public Security Bureau in Zigong City, Sichuan Province. He finally returned to his hometown to reunite with his grandmother, who had been separated for 27 years.

According to the police handling the case, mother-in-law Zhan's daughter, Tang Moumou, suffers from mental illness and disability. She married a man Liu Moumou in 1989, and her grandson Liu Mouxin was born in December 1993.

Originally, the family of the daughter and son-in-law was very difficult. The son-in-law was diagnosed with bone cancer and passed away soon after. Granny Zhan took care of her daughter and grandson.

Later, because he could not afford it, he reluctantly asked his relatives to send his grandson to Chongqing to be raised by others. After several turns, the mother and grandson lost contact.

Over the past 27 years, Granny Zhan has been to Chongqing six times to look for her grandson, but she failed to do so due to various reasons.

Recently, with the strong support of Chongqing Jiangbei Police, Rong County Police facilitated the reunion.
