A Lebanese family documents the last hours of its members before the "death boat" trip (video)

The pioneers of social networking sites circulated a video clip documenting the last moments of Lebanese family members on their way to leave the country illegally via the "death boat".

According to local media sites, the people who appeared in the video are members of the Mereb family, 7 of whom are still missing.

In the missing video, Hanan Mereb appears as she depicts her children Youssef and Rimas, her pregnant sister Maha and her daughter Leah, and she asks everyone where are they going?

Their mother was crying, and Hanan said to her, "Don't cry, come back."

All of them were happy, thinking that they were on their way to a better life, by emigrating to Italy, but fate drew them to another end that left heartbreak and pain in the hearts of their lovers.

The sinking of the boat off a coast in northern Lebanon sparked widespread outrage on social media in the country.

According to the Lebanese Red Cross, there were 60 people on board the boat.

The search for the missing "death boat" continues, as comprehensive field surveys began by land and sea from Ras Beirut to Al-Abdah in an attempt to find them.
