Wang Huanqing, a 95-year-old old man from Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, spent half a year collecting waste newspapers and advertising paper, and created a clip art - "China in a Prosperous Age".

Unlike ordinary paintings, this one is cut out of various discarded old newspapers and advertising paper.

Grandma Wang spent half a year collecting them, cleverly using the colors of various papers to create this painting, so this painting is also an "environmental protection art".

The painting is entirely based on Chinese traditional culture.

"The peacock symbolizes happiness and auspiciousness, the dove symbolizes peace, and the peony flower symbolizes wealth, auspiciousness and prosperity. These animals and plants have beautiful meanings in traditional culture, showing the people's blessings and yearning for a better life... The whole work is based on yellow. It sets off the festive atmosphere of the picture." Wang Huanqing introduced.

It is understood that Wang Huanqing is 95 years old this year, graduated from the provincial Hangzhou Normal University (the predecessor of today's Hangzhou Normal University), and is now a member of the China Artists Association.
