On the 23rd of this month, police are planning to expand the scope of the search on the 28th in the mountains of Doshi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where bones believed to belong to young people were found.

Three years ago, the whereabouts of an elementary school girl were lost at a distance of about 600 meters, and police are proceeding with an appraisal to see if there is any connection.

On the 23rd of this month, a part of the bone of a human head was found in the mountains of Doshi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.

According to investigators, it seems to belong to young people such as children, and it is estimated that several years have passed since they died.

It was found in a watered swamp on a steep slope, and police searched the area for two days until the 27th, but found no other parts or clues.

In the mountains, it may be dissipated due to the influence of nature such as rain and wind, so the police have decided to expand the search on the 28th.

At the campsite about 600 meters west of the place where it was found this time, the whereabouts of Misaki Ogura (9), who lived in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, who was a first grader three years ago, is unknown.

Police are proceeding with a DNA test to see if it is relevant.
