On the evening of April 25, local time, a military parade celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army was held in Kim Il Sung Square in the center of Pyongyang. Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, attended the military parade and delivered a speech.
This is the third night military parade to be held in Pyongyang since Kim Jong-un came to power at the end of 2011, and the first time North Korea has held a military parade on the anniversary of the founding of the People's Revolutionary Army.
