As part of the ongoing efforts to optimize the movie production site, he has indicated a policy of responding.

In response to the problem of sexual violence in the movie industry, the "Movie Director Volunteer Association" made up of six people, including director Koreeda, submitted a proposal to Eiren this month to prevent harassment. I was asking you to take various measures.

In the answer, Eiren said, "We believe that any violence, including sexual violence and sexual assault, and all kinds of harassment are never tolerated, and we take a firm opposition to these acts." ..



In addition, he said that he has been working on institutional design for optimizing working styles at movie production sites since 2019 in collaboration with the national government, and as part of this, he is considering measures against violence and harassment.



Then, referring to the recommendations from the volunteer association, he showed a policy to proceed with the formulation of guidelines.
