Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 27th that it was confirmed that 650 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
There were 84 fewer people than last Wednesday, falling below the same day of the previous week for the second consecutive day.
Miyagi Prefecture also announced the deaths of two people.
The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture is 73,020, and the number of infected people who have died is 188.
