The Kurobe Gorge Railway, nicknamed the "Trocco Train," was closed to snow during the winter, but began operation on the 27th when snow removal was completed.

The service started in the section of about 7 km from Unazuki Station to Sasadaira Station out of the total length of about 20 km, and passengers enjoyed the magnificent view of waterfalls and fresh green trees flowing down the mountain surface.



A woman who visited from Kanagawa prefecture as a couple said, "The fresh green shines in the valley and it was very beautiful."

According to the Kurobe Gorge Railway, it is scheduled to open on the 26th of next month, about three weeks later than usual, due to the heavy snowfall.



The Kurobe Gorge Railway is aiming for 500,000 people, which is more than 200,000 more than last year, during the season until November, considering that the influence of the new corona will be reduced.
