Hyun Geun-taek, a spokesman for the Democratic Party's ex-election committee, insisted on revealing the reason for Yoo Jae-suk, the host of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', for refusing to appear as former Gyeonggi governor Lee Jae-myung.

When Yoo Jae-suk announced legal action against malicious comments such as dissemination of false information through his agency, Hyun, a former spokesman, said, "Before legal action, President Moon Jae-in, Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom, and Governor Lee Jae-myung did not appear on You Quiz (You Quiz on the Block). We have to answer why,” he said.

Earlier, according to Democratic officials, the host of 'You Quiz on the Block' said that Yoo Jae-seok, the host, refused to appear in the show, saying he was embarrassed by the appearances of politicians such as President Moon Jae-in, former Governor Lee Jae-myung, and Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom.

However, when President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol appeared on 'You Quiz on the Block', some members of the Democratic Party objected, saying, "There is no fairness in the reason for refusing to appear."

Former Spokesperson Hyun Hyung said on his SNS recently, "Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom also said, 'We received an answer that Yoo Jae-suk felt quite burdened (for a politician appearing), and we (Lee Jae-myung's camp during the presidential election) did not proceed with the proposal any more.' Lee Jae-myung, the former secretary of the branch, said the same thing." He said, "It seems to be true that [the production team] suggested that the host disliked it as a reason for refusal."

Then, "This is contrary to what the production team said, 'The host did not get involved in the cast'. Even if the production team gave the host an excuse to refuse, would anyone believe it?" he asked, "I want to ask Yoo Jae-seok. A politician "Is it true that I was trying to refrain from appearing? Isn't Yoon Seok-yeol a politician? President Moon Jae-in, Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom, and Governor Lee Jae-myung are not working? Wouldn't a national MC answer these questions and take legal action?" urged.
