A 60-year-old McDonald's meal was found in a strange place

A man named Rob Kahn and his wife, who were renovating the bathroom of their home in the American city of Crystal Lake, found a 60-year-old McDonald's meal hidden in the bathroom walls, which sparked a wide wave of controversy and astonishment on social media platforms.

"We are currently renovating our kitchen and bathroom, and while removing a fixture in the bathroom, I noticed a piece of cloth stuck behind the plaster and pulled it out," the man told Newsweek.

When he unpacked the cloth, Rob said, "we found an old McDonald's bag with french fries in it, which is a complete meal."

"Our house was built in 1959," Robb explained. "It's very close to the McDonald's that opened at the time, so I suppose the meal found its way here easily."

In 1955, one of the first McDonald's restaurants opened on the road in Des Plaines, Illinois.

According to the "Daily Star" newspaper.

"There was no smell and surprisingly, there was no trace of mice," Rob said.

"It was such a strange discovery that I thought it was worth sharing."

"You're officially an archaeologist, sir," one of the man's followers on Reddit commented sarcastically.

While another said that hiding a fast food meal in the wall says many things.

Other commenters have suggested putting the picture and the bag up for sale to exotic collectors.
