[Explanation] Currently, traditional Chinese medicine is fully involved in Shanghai's anti-epidemic efforts.

How is the traditional Chinese medicine treatment for asymptomatic infected persons, critically ill patients and recovered persons?

Recently, Zhang Boli made an interpretation in a collective interview with the media in Shanghai.

[Explanation] In this round of the epidemic, a large number of asymptomatic infections appeared in Shanghai.

Regarding the treatment of asymptomatic infected persons, Zhang Boli pointed out that timely intervention with traditional Chinese medicine at this stage can often achieve better curative effects, prevent them from becoming diagnosed, and promote the rapid conversion of nucleic acid to negative.

Western medicine has no symptoms, while Chinese medicine has syndromes.

Because our nucleic acid screening is relatively timely now, we entered (fangcang) before the symptoms came out. After entering, he may have symptoms in a few days, so every day, asymptomatic patients are converted into confirmed cases.

But we need to intervene early, so that he can be asymptomatic and have no symptoms, and prevent him from showing symptoms. This is also one of the purposes of our treatment, so that he can turn negative as soon as possible.

[Explanation] Zhang Boli introduced that according to the principles of the "New Coronary Virus Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Plan (Trial Version 9)", traditional Chinese medicine treatment uses "three parties and three drugs" and the agreed prescriptions formulated by Shanghai.

Judging from the previous use in Shanghai Fangcang shelter hospitals, traditional Chinese medicine has shown a good trend of curative effect in reducing the rate of weight transfer and reducing the time of leaving the cabin.

In the cabin, some use proprietary Chinese medicines, and some use the agreed prescription developed in Shanghai for treatment. After treatment in the cabin, the overall curative effect seems to be good.

[Explanation] Among the confirmed cases in this round of epidemic in Shanghai, the elderly over 60 years old accounted for 30%, and most of the elderly had underlying diseases.

Talking about the treatment of these people, Zhang Boli said that the key to treatment should be moved forward, the symptoms should be treated first, and the symptoms should be cut off.

Catch the symptoms that affected his health at that time and may lead to the deterioration of the disease. Some patients have sticky phlegm and can't cough it out, so we gave him some antitussive and expectorant medicines to make the phlegm easy to cough up, and the phlegm can be coughed up easily. After he came out, the inflammation of the lungs was absorbed quickly, so that his underlying disease would not worsen and remain stable, so as to prevent the disease from becoming severe.

I have always said that there is no death without severe disease, which is very critical to control severe disease.

[Explanation] At present, the number of critically ill patients in Shanghai has begun to increase. Zhang Boli introduced that in order to strengthen the ability of TCM treatment for critically ill patients, a municipal multidisciplinary TCM expert group has been established. Consultations and discussions on critical cases in designated city and district hospitals are held every night at a fixed time.

At the same time, we have also formulated a list of Chinese medicines necessary for the treatment of severe new coronary pneumonia (patients), that is, some Chinese medicines that may be used in severe cases, including proprietary Chinese medicines, as standard in each hospital, so as to ensure timely use.

[Explanation] Talking about the follow-up rehabilitation work of the cured personnel, Zhang Boli pointed out that some patients have fatigue, muscle aches, palpitations, etc. after being cured, which can be treated with drugs, and some patients can also promote recovery through physical exercise, diet therapy, medicated diet and other means .
