A month after the slap that shook the world, Will Smith decided to embark on a spiritual retreat.
This desire to "recharge" took him to India, according to

, and the star was spotted in Bombay last weekend.
The exact reasons for its presence on Indian soil were still unknown, but the publication now has a clearer idea of its “program”.

which does not indicate how long he intends to stay there.
No apologies yet
When he announced his resignation from the Academy of Oscars, Will Smith pledged never again to "allow violence to take over reason."
If he has therefore decided to "go into exile" to India, the actor has however still not personally apologized to Chris Rock, as some observers have pointed out.
Jada Pinkett Smith (who, a priori, is not part of the trip to India), recently announced that she would eventually discuss the consequences of the slap on her Facebook show, "Red Table Talk", but She still needed time to process it all.
"Some of the discoveries around our recovery will be shared at the table when the time is right," the star said in a statement.
