The UAE real estate sector has recently achieved a comprehensive development leap, similar to the Emirate of Dubai, which was a pioneer in marketing its real estate sector, according to laws and regulations that increased the sector's attractiveness.
We gradually see the other emirates striving to impose laws, enhance ways to advance their local real estate sector, and encourage investment in it, which contributed to expanding the attractions of the sector in general. Especially in light of the current global changes.
When we talk about a general conglomerate, we are talking about the existence of a comprehensive entity that takes care of all the issues of a sector, to raise its efficiency and protect it. And includes under its umbrella all real estate activities without exception.
In another way, we are here referring to the UAE real estate sector's need for the existence of an "Emirati National Association of Realtors".
I will not hide something on this point. When I looked at the tasks and objectives of the National Association of Realtors in America, the year of its founding and its members, I wondered: Why is there not a similar association in the Emirates?!
The UAE real estate sector, which is witnessing expansion and development day after day, needs such an entity.
My suggestion may be strange, but it is reasonable and required at the present time, especially if we look at the expansion or expansion that the sector is witnessing.
The UAE real estate sector is not inferior to the American, Asian or European real estate sector, which has been awash with such conglomerates for years.. Yes, the sector needs a national association of real estate brokers, whose main mission is to exchange experiences, increase real estate knowledge, qualify and continue education for brokers, and coordinate cooperation between brokers Real estate in the country, to keep pace with the needs of the real estate market in accordance with global changes and developments.
An association that can participate in making all aspects of the real estate industry, and have its own brand, that qualifies it to open the door for cooperation and the exchange of external experiences.
This association will not be limited to real estate brokers only, but includes all the activists in the sector, including owners, consultants, appraisers, and developers who are licensed by the concerned authorities, all of whom abide by professional and ethical rules set by the association.
The tasks of this association will not only be based on exchanging experiences and presenting and addressing real estate problems only, but its role will also include organizing national conferences, organized annually to review the sector’s performance, and establishing associations of councils, educational and training institutes for individuals who want to specialize in one of the real estate activities, with the development of new activities in market.
Why not?
Such as: “accredited land consultant”, “accredited industrial real estate consultant”, “real estate professional”, and other activities that can be developed and allocated individually from other real estate fields, with data available on members of the association and real estate brokers, developers, consultants, and real estate appraisers. And real estate offices, and the classification is according to the emirate, so that the information is open to investors and those wishing to buy from inside and outside the country, and potential buyers who can register in the association to obtain the information they desire.
We need an Emirati national association of real estate brokers, whose goal is to promote a policy of clear cooperation between members, to enhance the efficiency of real estate services provided in the UAE real estate sector, and to consolidate its position globally.
