Chinese universities helped me change my courses to online learning, and most of the practice class teachers would make me watch the video learning repeatedly, so that we could better understand the content.

[Explanation] Recently, in Liuzhou City, Guangxi, Li Wenyi, a Thai student from Liuzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College, is learning railway knowledge through the Internet.

In the era of the epidemic, Guangxi colleges and universities explored the remote technology model to help ASEAN students "study in the cloud".

[Explanation] In this railway vocational and technical college, which is closest to ASEAN in China, teacher Cao Jiaming wears AR glasses and teaches track construction and maintenance courses to students far away in Thailand before simulating the track.

I saw him align the AR glasses with the track parts, pick up the teaching props and operate it step by step.

Students far away in Thailand, through AR technology and network transmission, "immersed" to watch the actual operation process and learn.

[Explanation] At present, more than 50 Thai and Lao students from Liuzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College are learning high-speed rail technology through the "cloud".

They come from two majors, railway signal automatic control and railway engineering technology. According to the original plan, they have to go to China to carry out a one-and-a-half-year study.

Affected by the new crown epidemic, the school uses remote technology to help international students learn high-speed rail technology.

(The school) has developed some virtual simulation resources, combined with VR equipment, through this immersive teaching, the teaching effect and the quality of training that our foreign students can get are fully guaranteed.

We recorded some difficult practical training (videos), and put these videos on the virtual platform, so that these students can learn and watch these videos anytime they want.

[Explanation] Li Wen took a good look at the development prospects of the Thailand-China Railway, and he began to study related majors in 2020.

Studying in China helps me to learn and understand HSR technology and further develop the HSR system in Thailand.

At present, there is no high-speed rail project in Thailand, and the upcoming construction is the reason why I chose this major. Studying this major will allow me to become a person who develops the railway system in our country.

[Explanation] Li Xiaoli, a student majoring in railway transportation operations from Laos, looks forward to participating in the Laos-China railway project in the future and contributing to the economic construction of Laos.

The opening of the Laos-China Railway has brought convenience for Lao people to travel, and also promoted the development of Laos' economy and trade. I think learning the railway can help the country.

[Explanation] With the advancement of China-Thailand and China-Laos railway cooperation projects, learning high-speed rail technology has become the choice of many ASEAN students.

As a vocational college with railway background in southwest China, Liuzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College has recruited 4 Thai students and 1 Lao students.

Among them, 45 Thai students have graduated, and 26 students have entered the Thai rail transit company to work.

We send teachers to the door, and our teachers can combine their majors and send teachers of different majors to these countries and to these enterprises for training.

So with the opening of the Laos-China Railway and these railways in our country and Thailand, the demand for such talents has been diversified.

Therefore, our school can also formulate a training plan called one school, one policy or one country, one policy according to the needs of enterprises and the talent needs of these schools in countries with high-speed railways, so as to cultivate precise talents for them.

[Explanation] As a window for exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN, Guangxi attracts more and more ASEAN students to study.

At present, Guangxi colleges and universities have established cooperative relations with nearly 200 colleges and universities in neighboring countries, and tens of thousands of students from ASEAN countries are studying in Guangxi.
