At 22:24 in the middle of the night on April 23, due to a sudden heavy snowfall, two tourists were trapped at the Balang Mountain Pass in Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan. One of the tourists suffered from altitude sickness and low blood sugar, and the situation was urgent.

  After receiving the alarm, fire rescue personnel found two trapped tourists at an altitude of 4,800 meters at 23:20.

The firefighters quickly provided coats, hot water, food, oxygen cylinders, etc. to the trapped persons, and at the same time asked about the physical conditions of the trapped persons.

At 1:7 a.m. on April 24, the fire rescue force successfully transferred the trapped tourists to the national highway, and at the same time sent the trapped tourists to the Siguniangshan Town Health Center for observation.

  The trapped tourists said that on the afternoon of the 23rd, the two went to the Balang Mountain Pass to play. The weather was good when they went there. Due to the sudden heavy snowfall and the unfamiliarity with the terrain, the vehicle was trapped in the mountains, so they had to call 119 for help.
