The artist Tone Sekelius has been awarded the LGBTQ of the Year award at the QX magazine's annual gay gala.
The gala, which was held at Cirkus in Stockholm on Monday night, was back after being held in digital form during the pandemic.

Earlier this year, the artist and video blogger Tone Sekelius came in fifth place in the Melodifestivalen with his contribution "My way".
In 2017, she released the single "Awakening" which is about coming out as gay.
Last year, Discovery + also broadcast the documentary "My name is Tone", which follows her life until she came out as a transgender person.
This year's hetero became constantly current Benjamin Ingrosso, and this year's move was Imaa Queen.

The title of this year's book went to Jonas Gardell's "A happier year", which is about historical advocates for gay rights.
This year's song was Abbas' "Don't shut me down", and this year's TV was the Netflix hit "Young royals" - the teenage drama about a Swedish prince who falls in love with his male schoolmate.
The QX gala, which was led by Sissela Kyle and Edvin Törnblom, will also be broadcast on TV4 on 29 April.
