Last year, in response to a series of incidents in which passengers were cut off on the train, Keisei Electric Railway decided to strengthen the vigilance inside the train, and from the 25th, security guards will be assigned at the "Skyliner" connecting Tokyo and Narita Airport. started.

Security guards are assigned to all paid limited express trains such as "Skyliner" and "Morning Liner" that connect Tokyo with Narita Airport.

On the 25th of the first day, guards were on alert while patrolling the vehicle at the "Skyliner" heading to Tokyo.

Keisei Electric Railway has installed security cameras on all Skyliner vehicles, but last year, in response to a series of incidents in which passengers were cut off on the Keio Line, etc., it was decided to strengthen measures.

Due to the placement of security guards, the limited express charge has been increased by up to 50 yen.

A male office worker in his thirties who got on the train said, "I don't know what's going on at this time, so having a security guard gives me a sense of security. I think there is no choice but to raise the price."

A male office worker in his 40s said, "I understand the need for countermeasures, but I think that raising the price will be a heavy burden for those who use it a lot."

Ao Tanaka, General Manager of the Railway Headquarters of Keisei Electric Railway, said, "It costs more to assign security guards, so please understand the price increase. I want you to use it with more peace of mind than ever before."

Measures to place security guards in the train have been introduced on some trains of Keio Electric Railway and Tokyu Electric Railway, which are the main private railways in the metropolitan area.
