As Russia's military invasion of Ukraine continues, four city councils associated with the late Pacific War corps have produced cartoon-style materials to encourage young people to think about the tragedy of the war.

It was produced by a council made up of four cities: ▽ Kasai City and Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, ▽ Usa City, Oita Prefecture, and ▽ Kanoya City, Kagoshima Prefecture.

At the time of the Pacific War, the four cities where the former Navy Airfield was located are deeply involved with the kamikaze corps and are focusing on peace education. I made a manga-style teaching material.

The main character, a high school student, follows in the footsteps of a young man who became a kamikaze member, knows the fate of the member, and thinks about what peace is.

It is distributed in the upper grades of elementary schools in four cities, and can also be viewed at public halls and libraries.

Takeshi Nogami, the author who continues to write manga on the theme of history and war, said, "The young people of the kamikaze corps are the same as the modern young people who fall in love and want to eat delicious food, and the painful reality they faced. Please know. Russia's invasion of Ukraine is not a thing, and think about what you should do to prevent young people from being tragedy again. "
