British driver fined because his car's shadow covered "Parking for the Handicapped"

A British driver was surprised to be fined £65 because the shadow of his car fell into the disabled parking lot.

Driver Matthew Cole has reached out to local media to express his frustration at the sudden fine, with city authorities claiming he parked illegally outside a London post office.

In the pictures, a silver Ford Wagon appeared, with its shadow extending slightly inside the area designated for the physically disabled, but the city council saw that there was a clear warning sign that this area is forbidden for non-disabled people.

The fine will jump to £130 if it is not paid within a certain time frame, and the British driver decided to appeal the decision and formally protest against it, but the appeal was rejected.
