According to the report, at 19:04 on March 17, 2022, the Chengbei Public Security Branch of Xining City Public Security Bureau immediately organized an investigation and disposal after receiving the police report that a woman fell from the building in Yishang Hotel, Nianlipu Town, in the area under its jurisdiction.
After investigation: Wei Moumou, female, Han nationality, born in 1994, from Gaolan County, Gansu Province, came to Nanjing on March 12, 2022 from an area with medium and high risk of the epidemic. Yishang Hotel, a centralized isolation medical observation point in Chengbei District, conducts isolation medical observation.
At about 19:00 on March 17, Wei Moumou fell from the window of his isolation room. The medical staff in the isolation hotel rescued him on the spot and sent him to Xining Second People's Hospital for treatment.
At about 2 am on March 18, Wei Moumou died after being rescued by the hospital.

On March 25, 2022, after Wei Moumou's family members questioned the cause of his death, under the supervision of the procuratorial organ, the higher-level public security organ checked the cause of Wei Moumou's death, and the verification was completed on April 22.

When he fell from the building, he was wearing a window screen to isolate the hotel room, and a broken window handle was left on the scene.
