Imprisonment of two nurses accused by Menna Shalaby of "neglecting her mother"!

The Hurghada Misdemeanor Court in the Red Sea, Egypt, sentenced two nurses to prison because of the artist’s mother, Menna Shalaby.

Counselor Mohamed Khallaf, head of the court, decided to imprison the two nurses for a month on charges of medical negligence in the complaint submitted to the Hurghada District Prosecution by Menna Shalaby, according to the Al-Ahram Gate website.

The Public Prosecution had referred two nurses to the criminal trial after they were released under the guarantee of their place of residence, after the completion of investigations with them in the communication submitted against them to the second section of Hurghada by the artist Menna Shalaby, due to the medical neglect of her mother while they were looking after her in the El Gouna area.

The prosecution heard the statements of the two nurses in the report submitted to the commissioner of the second department of Hurghada, from the artist, Menna Shalaby, in which she accuses them of medical negligence while caring for her mother while she was in the El Gouna tourist area in Hurghada.

Menna Shalaby wrote a report in a second department, Hurghada, in the Red Sea, accusing two nurses of medical negligence during her mother's nursing while receiving treatment and medical care during her stay in a resort in Hurghada.

The details of the communication revealed that Menna accused the two nurses of neglecting to treat a wound that her mother suffers from, as they used hot water on the sunken wounds instead of warm water, which led to the deterioration of her health and caused suppurations.

From the artist’s statements, it became clear that the two nurses belong to a medical company in Cairo, and she used them to follow up and treat her sick mother, in her place of residence in Hurghada, and the artist’s mother, Menna Shalaby, was transferred to a private hospital to complete her treatment.
