Exhibition: artist Zineb Sedira represents France at the Venice Biennale

The 59th Venice International Art Biennale opened its doors to the public on Saturday 23 April.

It is the world meeting place for contemporary art and it lasts this year exceptionally until the end of November, to compensate in some way for the cancellation of the previous edition due to the pandemic.

More than 200 artists, mostly women from 58 countries, were invited to present their works in gigantic exhibitions on the site of the arsenal, in the famous Giardini.

In addition, 80 national pavilions installed in the gardens, but also in other places of the city give carte blanche to one or more artists.

On the French side, the artist Zineb Sedira was chosen to represent his country.
