At an event in Yokohama where 300,000 flowers are in full bloom, a tour was held in which a guide carefully conveys various information such as the color and shape of flowers so that visually impaired people can enjoy it.

In the flower garden of Asahi Ward, Yokohama City, "Satoyama Garden Festa" is held, and about 180 varieties of 300,000 flowers such as tulips and pansies are in full bloom on a 10,000 square meter flower bed.

On the 23rd, a tour of the method called "Commentary Guide", which was first adopted at the ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, was held so that visually impaired people could enjoy the event, and five people participated.

After touching the three-dimensional map of the flower field made of cloth or clay and the blooming flowers, the participants are polite to guide not only the color and shape of the flowers, but also the care method and the aim of the event. I walked around listening to the explanation.

A female participant said, "I enjoyed it while imagining the whole picture with a three-dimensional map and explanation. This is the first time for me to enjoy this kind of tour while feeling the seasons, and I would like to participate again."

Kashino Iwakawa, a university student who served as a guide, said, "I would like to continue to be involved in tours that can be enjoyed even with disabilities."
