Those who have evacuated from Ukraine need to change their status of residence in order to stay in Japan for a long time and get a job.

However, because the procedure is difficult due to language problems, the Japan Federation of Certified Administrative Procedures and Scriveners has set up a dedicated consultation desk and has begun to support the procedure.

Those who have evacuated from Ukraine are granted a status of residence that allows them to stay for a short period of 90 days, but they must change their status of residence to "specific activities" in order to stay in Japan for a long time and get a job. ..

To support this procedure, the Japan Federation of Certified Administrative Procedures and Scriveners has been providing consultations free of charge by phone or email from the 12th.

If you change your status of residence to "Specific Activities", you will be able to register as a resident and join the National Health Insurance, which means that the consultation desk is receiving a series of consultations from local governments and support groups that have accepted evacuees.

Sadako Tsubagawa, Vice Chairman of the Japan Federation of Certified Administrative Procedures, said, "If you do not understand your status of residence properly, you will not be able to protect the human rights of Ukrainian people. I would like to actively support as a company. "
