• Johnny Depp has been testifying for two days in the defamation lawsuit he is bringing against Amber Heard

  • Amber Heard will soon testify at the stand

  • Elon Musk and James Franco, accused by Johnny Depp of having a relationship with Amber Heard during their marriage, are subpoenaed

Jurors in the defamation lawsuit brought by Johnny Depp against Amber Heard were able to hear several recordings of arguments between the former spouses yesterday.

According to the actor, they decided to check in because they never agreed on what they had previously said during their disagreements.

On one such tape, Amber Heard can be heard implicating the actor's son Jack and Vanessa Paradis in their argument.

"I hope Jack's stepdad teaches him a little more about being a man than you do," she says.

This sentence came after a violent exchange between the actors during which the star of

Aquaman

admits having hit the interpreter of Jack Sparrow, while insisting on the fact that she did not give him a punch, I hit you,” as can be heard in this audio released by the

.

“Smarter than me”

On the stand, the

Edward

Scissorhands actor said Amber Heard “too often” quotes his children in their altercations.

“My children are smarter than me.

They refused to be with her.

They didn't like the way she treated me,” the actor explains, according to Yahoo!

News.

And they made no secret of it, Lily-Rose Depp having written “a very elegant long letter” to her mother-in-law to explain to her, according to the actor.

“My daughter did not come to my wedding.

She and Miss Heard were not particularly on good terms for many reasons,' he added.

Post rehab marriage

Regarding his wedding in February 2015 on his private island in the Bahamas, Johnny Depp said that about twenty people were invited.

He claimed that drugs were made available to guests, including a "common pot" of MDMA that "(Heard) was quite fond of" and hallucinogenic mushrooms.

“To be honest with you, I don't know how much MDMA they took, but for me taking MDMA would have been a waste (…) because it wouldn't have had any effect on me.

I smoked marijuana and don't remember drinking alcohol.

I'm pretty positive about that, I haven't had any alcohol,” he added.

Six months earlier, in August 2014, Johnny Depp had started a detox program against his addiction to prescription opiates, as confirmed by his doctor at the helm last week.

Yesterday, the actor also claimed that Amber Heard refused to give him a drug that was supposed to help him avoid the side effects of withdrawal.

"I never felt as low as that day because I had to beg for my medicine and she was like, 'No, it's not the time,'" he detailed.

Amber Heard will soon have the opportunity to give her version of the facts at the helm.

The trial is still to last four weeks, during which testimony from billionaire Elon Musk and actor James Franco are also expected.
