Frédéric Maillard, director of Synchro Bus, explained that the first cases had been identified "at the end of March at the beginning of April".

He said he was concerned about the dangers faced by “bus surfing” enthusiasts, who could fall, but also about the risks for people around.

Faced with the phenomenon, the company has chosen to play the information card.

An awareness campaign was launched in schools in the agglomeration.

The operation also targets the buses of a particularly affected line.

The gendarmes were also warned of the existence of the practice.
