Photographing the taste of people's lives (insisting on "two creations" to write epics)

The fireworks in the world are the most soothing.

Countless ordinary families support our country. I photograph the happiness of thousands of households because the progress and strength of the country are reflected in these happiness.

Everyone's artistic pursuit is different, and each audience's expectations for literary and artistic works are also different.

Using my works to reflect the joys and sorrows of ordinary people, the ups and downs, the greatness in the ordinary, and the warmth in life, is my consistent pursuit in the nearly 40 years of film and television creation.

In the past 40 years, I have grown from a martial arts director to a chief director, constantly exploring my own way of acting, tempering my artistic style, and trying different themes and types of works. Until the filming of the TV series "Silly Spring", I found "myself". .

The common people's firewood, rice, oil and salt, and the shortness of their parents can touch my heartstrings the most and inspire my creative inspiration the most.

After "Silly Spring", I shot "Under Zhengyang Gate", "Love Full Courtyard", "Little Woman under Zhengyang Gate", "Sesame Hutong" and other works that reflected the life of Beijingers, and they were called Beijing-flavored directors by the audience.

Beijing-style children's dramas are indeed the genre that I am best at and can express my emotions the most.

I am a native of Beijing. I photograph the things that happen around me, and I photograph the true feelings of myself and the people around me. The taste in my works is the most real and moving.

In my works, the taste of Beijing is actually the smell of fireworks, the taste of people's lives.

In "Love in a Siheyuan", the reason why the path of the silly column is getting wider and wider, and in "Little Woman under Zhengyangmen", the reason why Xu Huizhen's small shop is so impressive is because the good days are smoked from the fireworks.

The fireworks in the world are the most soothing.

Countless ordinary families support our country. I photograph the happiness of thousands of households because the progress and strength of the country are reflected in these happiness.

I insist that dramas that reflect people's lives must be real and down-to-earth, and the actors' age and image temperament must be in line with the characters.

"Love Full of Siheyuan" is just like this gritted his teeth and insisted on finishing the filming.

Initially, the investors were not optimistic. I had no less than 10 closed doors from investors, because the dramas describing the life of the market were not popular in the market at that time.

Casting is also difficult. At that time, it was popular to find first-line stars and traffic stars. Without stars, the distribution of TV dramas would face great difficulties.

It took more than two years of backlog for this drama to finally meet more audiences on the satellite TV channel.

However, our insistence on the quality of the work has been recognized by the audience. As of now, the show has been replayed for more than 60 rounds.

The audience will cheer for you only if you don't fool the audience.

In the creation of "Love Full of Nine Roads", I realized this more deeply.

This drama tells about the changes of life in a hutong called Jiudaowan in Beijing over the past few decades. It eulogizes the high-spirited style of Chinese people who have been on the road since the reform and opening up, struggled hard, and strived to create a better life. It continues my consistent creative concept, style and style. artistic pursuit.

As a period drama dedicated to the common people, not only must the big frame stand up, but the details must not be ambiguous, otherwise the truth of life will be lost.

We tried our best to present all the details of life in those days, from tricycles, popcorn on the street, bamboo carts pushing children, window air conditioners, honeycomb to the steamed buns baked on the coal stove, and the scenes were compared to the style of Hutong in those days. For the real scene construction, the props are made of real materials, and many old objects took a lot of effort to collect.

Because we believe that the attention to detail reflects the attitude of creation and the quality of the work, we also believe that the audience will not reject works that are sincere and exquisite.

Excellent literary and artistic works can stimulate social integrity.

Many viewers saw great love from Sha Zhu, saw the tenacity and kindness of the Chinese people from the changes of the times in the play, and understood the values of the Chinese people from the seemingly trivial firewood, rice, oil and salt.

What amazes me is that audience-approved works also have unexpected social benefits.

Because of the broadcast of "Zhengyang Gate", many young viewers pay more attention to and like Yili Bread and Arctic Ocean soda; after the broadcast of "Little Woman under Zhengyang Gate", the sales of Erguotou in Niulanshan are obviously good; "Sesame Hutong" broadcasts, It has driven the market of Liubiju pickles.

Because of my contribution to the local economy, I won the title of Excellent Builder in Beijing in 2018. There are more than 20 business leaders who have won the award, and I am the only literary and art worker.

I feel fulfilled and proud to be able to serve society in this way.

This proves that literary and artistic works have a huge social influence, which reminds me to treat works with a high sense of social responsibility.

Looking back on my nearly 40 years of film and television career, not every film and television drama I've made has been successful, and every one has become phenomenal, but all of them are sincere.

Because I regard each work as a gift to the times and to the audience, and strive to be carefully prepared and polished.

Being named "The 5th National Young and Middle-aged Morality and Art Workers" is a heavy honor and a heavy responsibility for me, and I will continue to work hard.
