Aichi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 2494 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
A total of 466,252 people have been confirmed to be infected in Aichi Prefecture.
The city of Nagoya also announced that two elderly people with confirmed infections have died.
The number of infected people who died in Aichi Prefecture is 2008.
