Hetian carpets are known as one of the "Three Treasures of Hetian". The carrier of culture is not only well-known in China, but also enjoys a high reputation overseas, which is called "Oriental Carpet".

Hand-knitting is the most basic requirement of pure Hetian handmade carpets. Weaving a Hetian carpet requires not only great patience, but also the exquisite skills of the workers.

At present, Hetian handmade carpets use Senna button (commonly known as "8" button) weaving technique, using traditional tools, and relying on traditional methods to tie knots one by one manually.

The flocking knot is the smallest unit of carpet weaving, and the whole carpet is composed of tens of thousands of knots.

Usually a dot is formed by two warp threads and two weft threads, and dozens of colors are harmoniously blended together.

The handmade carpets woven in this way not only have clear patterns, but their thickness and texture are also unmatched by other types of carpets.
