Guantao County in Hebei Province has a long history of pottery making and is the hometown of Chinese black pottery art.
In 2006, "Guantao black pottery making skills" was included in the first batch of Hebei provincial intangible cultural heritage list.
In recent years, Guantao County has combined inheritance of intangible cultural heritage with rural revitalization, and adopted the model of "intangible cultural heritage + enterprise + farmers" to promote the inheritance of black pottery making skills and the revitalization of the industry.
The inheritors of the black pottery production skills represented by Yin Junting combined the traditional lacquer painting art with the black pottery art to fill the blank of black pottery, and the black pottery artworks produced are very popular in the market.
At present, there are more than 10 black pottery enterprises in the county, which have driven more than 1,100 farmers to realize employment at their doorsteps, and the average annual income of employees has increased by more than 20,000 yuan.
