Recently, in Dangyang, Hubei, the national anti-fraud hotline 96110 issued a warning to Mr. Chen, saying that his wife, Ms. Yu, might be being deceived, and blocked all calls.

When Mr. Chen used his mobile phone to locate his wife, she locked herself in the car and insisted on transferring 50,000 yuan to the liar. In desperation, Mr. Chen called the police for help.

Dangyang City Public Security Bureau duty police officer Deng Guan and auxiliary police officer Li Wei immediately rushed to the scene after receiving the alarm, slapped the car window to identify themselves, but Ms. Yu ignored it and continued to operate the mobile phone in the car.

The police kept slapping the windows of the car, and in just two minutes, they shouted "I'm a policeman" more than 20 times.

Seeing that Ms. Yu was about to enter the verification code to transfer money, the police decisively smashed the car window and controlled Ms. Yu's mobile phone in her hand.

The liar became angry and yelled at the policeman, who immediately used the liar's words to persuade Ms. Yu in reverse.

Only then did Ms. Yu realize that she was almost deceived.

After questioning, the police learned that the fraudster pretended to be a police officer of the Yichang City Public Security Bureau and wanted to "screen sharing" to check his account on the grounds that he was suspected of a crime.

When the police arrived, the liar still instructed Ms. Yu not to open the door and to complete the operation as soon as possible on the grounds that "these police are here to arrest you".
