And reducing the debt to 192,000 dirhams, and included in the statements of “Yak Al Aoun”, in order to pay its debts, and relieve its distress before the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

The citizen (Um Rashid) told her story to "Emirates Today", saying that she was supporting her family of four children, because her ex-husband was immersed in debt and bank loans at that time, so that his services were terminated during that period, pointing out that she had to Obtaining a loan from a bank to ease the burden on the husband, so that the creditors do not resort to legal methods, or take judicial measures against him, and the banking requirements were deducting 12 thousand dirhams per month from her salary, and she remained committed to paying, and at that time married life reached a dead end , until the divorce occurred in 2012.

She added that the financial crises began to haunt her, and in 2017, the private school in which her children attend, asked her to pay the school arrears, and refused to hand her the school certificates until after paying the tuition fees, so that her daughter who obtained high school at a high rate, the school administration refused to hand over her certificate until she joined the university, This forced her to sell her car to pay the school arrears amounting to 118,000 dirhams, and she tried to resort to the bank to obtain a loan to finance a new car, but it was refused due to the presence of previous bank loans. I paid the rent in full.

And (Um Rashid) continued that in late 2017, she was exposed to health problems and a spinal injury, which made her stay in the hospital, got out of it, and traveled to India on a treatment trip, and there she underwent six spinal surgeries at six different time stages, forcing her to To stay out of the country for a long time.In the midst of her sickness, she remembered the rented car, and called the owner of the car rental office, and asked him to take the car back, because it is outside the country, and she does not need it, therefore I did not get a release document to deliver the car, and after her stay in India for several months under treatment, she returned to the land of The state, and she was busy receiving treatment, and after a while, she was surprised by a call from the car rental office, asking her to pay the car rental arrears. Two days after her arrival in India, she received a call from the police station, about a report of default against her, from the car rental office, and there is a circular regarding her, and the complaint must be settled.(Umm Rashid) indicated that she was stunned by what happened, and the lawyer of the car rental office called her, and asked her to write a guarantee check of 190,000 dirhams in exchange for removing the circular and the report against her, and promising her that after returning to the country, the misunderstanding would be settled, explaining that it was not She had no choice, and she was afraid to return in the presence of the circular, so she agreed and asked her daughter who is in the state to hand the lawyer a check signed by her previously, for school payments, without writing the amount, and subsequently the lawyer wrote an amount of 300,000 dirhams instead of the previously agreed amount, After her return to the state, she tried to contact the rental office repeatedly, and the employee informed her that the people responsible for her case were not in the state. A month later, she received a call from the police station stating that there was a report against her that a check was issued without balance and in bad faith.

She explained that she had stopped working indefinitely, due to a mistake in not obtaining a signature to deliver the vehicle, which led to the accumulation of rent on it, and giving a check without writing the amount of the debt, and since then she has been suffering prosecution and moving in a wheelchair, and she can only walk with help others.

She thanked the "Yak Aid" initiative, for its inclusion in the lists of those included in the initiative, noting "Yak Aid", which seeks to relieve the distress of financially distressed and prosecuted citizens.

Release the anguish of the debtors

Emirates Today, Dubai Courts, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai are adopting the "Yak Al Aoun" initiative, for the second year in a row, with the aim of releasing prisoners from financially troubled citizens who are being prosecuted.
