Recently, the Shaanxi Archaeological Museum, the first museum dedicated to archaeology in China, was officially completed in Xi'an and will be open to the public on a trial basis at the end of April.

The museum has a total construction area of ​​more than 36,000 square meters. Relying on the research results of archaeological excavations in Shaanxi in the past 100 years and its more than 200,000 unearthed cultural relics, it is a large-scale comprehensive archaeological research institution integrating archaeological excavation, scientific research, and cultural relics protection. It is also a museum that reflects the development history of archaeology and tells about archaeological work.
