Actor Kim Min-ha, who plays the young Seon-ja in 'Pachinko', has revealed the casting behind the scenes.



On SBS Power FM's 'Park Ha-sun's Cinetown', which was broadcast on the 19th, Kim Min-ha, the main character of the Apple TV+ drama 'Pachinko', appeared as a guest.



Kim Min-ha, about the reason why she auditioned for 'Pachinko', said, "At first, she didn't even know that an audition was held. She didn't have an agency or agency, so the casting director contacted me to try (directly)."

Kim Min-ha said, "At first, I filmed a video with my phone and sent it, and after that, I not only did acting, but also did a lot of interviews, and in the end it took three to four months to audition for chemistry (with the opposite role)." I told you the process leading up to it.



He continued, "When I saw the last audition, I thought, 'It could be'. Unlike the countless auditions I had seen before, it ended and I had no regrets, and I felt like I did everything I could. It was connected with the feeling that there will be,” he said at the time.



Also, Kim Min-ha recalled her first meeting with Lee Min-ho (Han-soo), who she first met at the last chemistry audition, and expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for making me feel so comfortable."

Kim Min-ha said, "When I first met (Lee Min-ho), he was very big. When we read the chemistry together as Han-soo and Seon-ro, it was strange to feel overwhelmed as Han-soo (by Lee Min-ho)." "We became close like brothers. It was easy to talk about, and I was reassured that he said, 'Do whatever you want to do' on set."



Regarding actress Yoon Yeo-jeong, who played the old prophet in 'Pachinko', he said, "I rarely saw (Yoon Yeo-jeong) on ​​set, but only greeted me while passing by. I met her during the premiere week long after (shooting) ended. Thank you for telling me that I just need to take care of it and saying a lot of good things.”



'Pachinko' is a work that draws an unforgettable chronicle of war and peace, love and parting, victory and judgment, traveling back and forth between Korea, Japan and the United States.
