Before 1:00 pm on the 19th, a cleaner found a baby in the garbage collection area of an apartment in Kosugi-machi, Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki, and reported it to the police.
According to police, the baby had already died.
The garbage collection area is on the first floor of the condominium, and a key is installed at the doorway.
The police are proceeding with the confirmation of the baby's identity and are investigating the case of abandoning the baby by analyzing the video of the security camera.
The site is a residential area about 500 meters northwest of Musashi-Kosugi Station.
