And within three years, he underwent treatment, but his condition deteriorated, which led to his loss of sight. According to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, he needs an eye surgery, at a cost of 18 thousand 342 dirhams, to restore sight.

And the father of the child had previously told "Emirates Today" the story of his son's suffering with the disease, saying that three years ago (Rashid) was walking outside the house, and suddenly he fell on his face, and during the fall a tree snorkel entered his left sample, and his eye began to bleed heavily, and quickly transferred him. He was taken to the emergency department in Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, where he underwent the necessary treatment and stopped the bleeding. The doctor prescribed medications for him and asked him for continuous reviews in the specialized clinics in the hospital, to check on the condition of the eye.

He added that a year after the fall, the eye condition deteriorated significantly, and the doctors decided that he should undergo surgery in his left eye, but his financial capabilities almost prevented him from performing the surgery, had it not been for the help of family and friends, and (Rashid) underwent surgery, and his health condition improved, and after After a period of surgery was performed, the doctor requested a second operation, at a cost of 18,342 dirhams, but his financial capabilities did not allow him to manage the amount, and he did not find anyone to help him, which led to the loss of (Rashid) vision in his left eye.

He pointed out that he is the only breadwinner for his family of four, and he works in one of the private agencies with a salary of 2500 dirhams, of which 1500 dirhams goes to rent the house, and the rest is not enough to meet the necessary life expenses, so that some days he is unable to manage the life expenses of his children, and finally found In addition to his job, he will have an additional job opportunity to provide for the life requirements of his children.

He explained that his child (Rashid) did not attend school at all, due to his inability to bear school expenses, and his poor salary, and he did not know how to act, until (Rashid) regained his sight, and joined the school like the rest of his peers.
