Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 18th that it was confirmed that 245 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections to 80,399.
On the other hand, there was no announcement of the deceased.
So far, 357 people have died in Nara prefecture.
The number of seriously ill people is still four as on the 17th.
