The Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado exhibits until September 22 at the gates of Paris, on the forecourt of the business district of La Défense, on the theme of water, this precious good which is sorely lacking in many regions of the globe.
The pictures, in black and white and in large format, are to be discovered under a huge bamboo pavilion of around 1000 m² designed by the Colombian architect Simón Vélez.
The “ Aqua Mater
” exhibition
is the result of the photographer's many travels over more than forty years around the world.
