Yang Hyun-suk, former CEO of YG Entertainment, who is being tried for retaliatory threats, has been accused of threatening to bury him in the entertainment industry.

Singer B.I (Kim Hanbin) accused of drug purchases at the 3rd trial on charges of violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (threat of retaliation), etc., held at the 23rd Criminal Settlement Court of the Seoul Central District Court on the 18th. A public interest reporter, Mr. A, made a claim to the effect that he received specific threats from Yang Hyun-suk.

Person A, who appeared in court as a witness for Yang Hyun-suk's retaliatory threat trial, said, "After being arrested on drug charges in August 2016, during a police investigation, a text message about exchanging drugs with Kim Han-bin came out and testified truthfully. In my heart, I contacted YG Entertainment Mr. Kim, and the next day I met Yang Hyun-suk at the YG office building. Yang Hyun-suk told me to reverse the statement, saying, 'I don't like my singer going to the police station.'"

In the process, Mr. A also claimed that Yang Hyun-suk said, "It is not a matter of killing you in the entertainment industry.

Person A said, "I used to know Yang Hyun-suk, but that day, I was afraid, so I couldn't even look at his face. I was so intimidated that I was just looking at the floor in fear." He said, "I secretly took a picture in the bathroom to leave evidence that I went to the YG office. Mr. Kim was guarding the toilet until I came out."

Regarding the reason for reporting in the public interest, Mr. A said, "I was worried about Kim Han-bin's drug allegations, because I was guilty of mediation, etc. But I thought I should let them know that this kind of thing exists in the world. The CEO of a large agency called YG told a young trainee "I thought it was unreasonable to insist on reversing the statement," he said.

Person A reported public interest to B.I during the probation period.

A newspaper against Mr. A will be held on the morning of the 25th.

Person A was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison for violating the Narcotics Control Act at the first trial in November last year and is currently in detention.
