Two researchers reveal the secret of the death of bees under the linden trees

Two researchers from Britain have found a reason that may be the main determinant of the death of bees under the linden trees, which scientists considered an important step in understanding the link between the small honey collector and this type of tree.

This is part of an effort by science to better understand the nature of bees.

Two researchers in Britain have suggested that the death of bumblebees under the linden trees may be partly due to a lack of food.

The researchers, Hauke Koch, and Philip Stephenston from the University of "Cranewich" in the city of "Kent" British that the possible explanation for this phenomenon is that bees die of starvation.

According to scientists, it is possible that a remarkable number of bees will die in the summer, under the linden trees, especially what is known as the linden linden, which flourishes relatively late in the year, as bees and other insects gather under the trees in search of nectar, but they find very little of it. In these trees, according to the journal "Biology Letters", which specializes in biology studies

On the other hand, the researchers also pointed out that starvation is not the only explanation for the phenomenon of the death of bumblebees under the linden trees, as the two experts reviewed many studies that focused on this subject.

They said that until now, previous researchers believed that linden tree nectar was toxic to bees, but they did not find convincing evidence for this.

In a related matter, Koch and Stephenson suggested providing alternative sources of food in linden areas.

It is also in the hands of one of the most famous bee researchers, Dave Goloson, from the University of "Sussex" British.

He emphasized in this regard that the linden tree itself is not harmful to bees.
