The cast of an Egyptian series talking about "ISIS" is subjected to a kidnapping incident in Lebanon!
On Saturday night, armed men in a four-wheel drive vehicle intercepted another car belonging to the cast of the series "Btolo al-Ruh", the events of which were filmed in Lebanon, and kidnapped one of the series' workers.
The accident took place on Rayak Baalbek Road in the locality of Taybeh, in the North Bekaa Governorate, near the town of Brital.
According to "Sky News Arabia", the gunmen kidnapped the accountant in the "Al-Sabah" company for artistic and cinematic production, Sadiq Rolly, while his colleague in the company, Gabriel Ramia, managed to escape, and later went to the police station in the town of Taiba for investigation.
And the heroine of the series, the Egyptian actress Ilham Shaheen, who is currently in Lebanon, revealed that all the actors and the work team are fine, stressing that the gunmen kidnapped the accountant of the series.
Shaheen pointed out that "another four-wheel drive vehicle belonging to the production company chased the accountant (who was carrying a sum of money), and the gunmen shot the vehicle until it stopped, and kidnapped the accountant while his colleague was able to escape."
On the other hand, sources close to the "Al-Sabah" company denied that the news of the kidnapping of the Egyptian artist participating in the series, Ahmed Al-Saadani, was true, after it was circulated on Saturday evening in Arab media.
The sources confirmed that "Al-Saadani and his Syrian and Egyptian companions are fine, and the news is false," and that "the cast are all fine, and filming ended on Saturday."
The company confirms that the kidnapped employee works for it, and that the producer, Sadiq Al-Sabah, is following up on the circumstances of the case in coordination with the security services.
And on Sunday morning, private information to "Sky News Arabia" reported that a joint military and security force raided the Al-Sharawneh neighborhood and the Goro barracks, inhabited by displaced persons in the city of Baalbek, against the background of the kidnapping of the accountant.
A group of Egyptian, Lebanese and Syrian artists, led by Ilham Shaheen, Menna Shalaby, Al-Saadani and Adel Karam, participate in the series, which monitors the practices of the "ISIS" organization.
