An urgent decision by the Egyptian Public Prosecution regarding 5 children in Ismailia.. they caused the death of a person
The Public Prosecution in Egypt has ordered the detention of 5 accused children for 4 days pending investigation, for having committed the crime of intentionally beating a person, which led to his death, and their use and use of force against him with the intent of harming him, which led to disturbing his security, peace and tranquility, and endangering his life and safety.
According to Al-Masry Al-Youm, the Public Prosecution received a notification on Sunday of the death of the victim, Hisham Zakaria in Ismailia, due to his anger after the defendants threw bags filled with water at him, coinciding with what the Monitoring and Analysis Unit in the Bayan Department of the Public Prosecutor’s Office monitored from a wide circulation of news about the incident on social media, The Public Prosecution conducted the investigations, asked the companion of the deceased at the time of the incident, and interrogated the five boys who committed the crime. From the outcome of the investigations, the five aforementioned agreed to throw plastic bags full of water at passersby for joking, as one of them threw a bag of what they had prepared towards the deceased while he was sitting in a café in Ismailia. He hit his face, which called him to reprimand them and the enemy behind them, but he fell to the ground during his enemy, and was taken to the hospital where he died.
The Public Prosecution commissioned the Forensic Medicine Authority to conduct an autopsy on the body of the deceased, stating the cause of his death, and the causal relationship between the actions of the accused and the death of the victim, and investigations are being completed.
The Public Prosecution affirmed its resolute and decisive response to such irresponsible childish acts, which fall within the circle of criminalization, and completely deviate from the values and traditions of the Egyptian society that grew up revering and respecting the great, giving him his destiny and elevating his position, stressing that the youth of such behavior is a sign of youthfulness. Joking is not an excuse for transgression, nor is it an excuse for bad manners.
