"I met a lovely Chinese lady, we got married, and lived and worked in Yinchuan." Kevin, who became a "Chinese son-in-law", settled in Yinchuan and started chasing his dream of opening a bakery.

For Kevin, baking is "making friends with bread".

"The recipe in the process of making bread may only account for 15%, and the rest depends on experience and feeling." Kevin is very demanding of himself. He has always insisted on using high-quality ingredients. If the bread made is not satisfied, Would rather throw it away than sell it to a customer.

"I have been trying to start from the Chinese market and make some unusual things." Kevin said that he would add some Chinese elements to the production and packaging of bread. This year is the Year of the Tiger, so he purchased a batch of paintings with Cartoon tiger in carton to pack bread.

"But at the same time, I will also insist on making some original and authentic European bread." Kevin believes that there are some differences in the eating habits and tastes of the East and the West, but such differences and boundaries will be communicated with people. It becomes more and more blurred, and the development of taste buds is a wonderful process. "I am trying to let the citizens of Yinchuan eat authentic European bread. When they taste the bread I make, they usually become repeat customers, and this is also a It's a way of blurring dietary boundaries," says Kevin.

Making friends with ingredients such as flour, cream, and chocolate sauce, and turning them into delicious food through a magic called "baking", Kevin admitted that baking is a happy job, "When customers taste the food I make, That look of contentment and enjoyment will also make me happy." (End)
