Mistakes, everyone makes them.

But when they happen on TV, it is immediately noticeable much more.

This Friday, on TF1, a small dumpling was committed by the teams of the

12 Coups de midi

.

During the blow-by-blow test, the master of midi Maël answered the question "In 1871, by which neighboring country was Alsace annexed?"

".

His answer: Prussia, validated by production.

"It was this war which led to the unification of Germany but it was still Prussia which started this war", justified the candidate while Jean-Luc Reichmann took a break in the course of the game to verify this statement since on his tablet was indicated "Germany" as the correct answer.

After a few seconds of hesitation, the voiceover of the show validated this assertion and the hand therefore passed to Maël's competitor.

But things shouldn't have happened that way.

"In a hurry, we validated"

This Saturday, Jean-Luc Reichmann started his show by presenting Margaux, the candidate who bowed to the midday master the day before.

“Yesterday, we spent ten hours on an 1871 dispute between Prussia and Germany.

To be completely honest, you have stuck with us, ”said Jean-Luc Reichmann, addressing Maël.

“But the” topette company “searched, searched, searched… We accepted the answer but we were a few days away from 1871”, explained the host.

“Margaux, we said to ourselves that, exceptionally, we were going to invite you back very soon, as soon as possible because for us, justice prevails,” said Jean-Luc Reichmann, who gave the floor to Zette to give the end of this story.

“Germany became Germany at the end of January 1871 and even though it was ruled by the King of Prussia, at the time of the annexation it was already Germany!

The word “Prussia” was not adequate and we in a hurry, we validated”, regretted the voiceover of the program.

Viewers will therefore find Margaux soon.

She will possibly fight again against Maël if he is still master of noon.
