The citizen (Abu Obeid) told his story to "Emirates Today", saying that he has been married for 13 years, and found a job opportunity in a private party, and was traveling by taxi back and forth from work, and began thinking about buying a car that would help him move easily without using public transportation. .

He added that he could not buy the car with the guarantee of the bank because he had not completed six months of work, so he asked one of his relatives to buy a car through the bank in his name, and a car was bought for the value of 160,000 dirhams in the name of his relative, and the agreement between them was to pay the monthly loan installment, and after two months passed From buying the car, he was surprised by his relative asking him to pay the value of the vehicle in full or to hand him over the vehicle.

(Abu Obeid) added that he asked his relative for a month to arrange the amount, and he agreed to do so. Before the deadline expired, he received a call from the police station because there was a report from his relative asking him to return the vehicle, and on the next day he returned the vehicle to him.

He explained that in 2013 his services were terminated from work, and he no longer had a source of income to pay off the bank loan, and it was circulated, and he became a fugitive from the law and moved from one place to another, and he had no source of income, to the extent that he would conclude some transactions for his friends in exchange for commissions, which saved His monthly income ranged between 2000 and 3000 dirhams, and at the time he lived in shared accommodation with Asian workers, and due to the lack of a fixed income, he was unable to pay the rent of the shared housing, which led to his expulsion from the housing.

(Abu Obeid) said that he had to go to the sea at night and sleep in a boat, and go to a friend for lunch or dinner, and this situation lasted for a month, after which a friend provided him with shared housing, and at that time he began to use his talent to manufacture and sell chairs to provide food and drink During that period, the Trahum Charity Association helped him provide him with housing.

He thanked the Yak Al Aoun initiative for including it among the people targeted by the initiative, stressing that the initiative contributes to relieving the distress of financially distressed citizens and those who are being prosecuted.

(Abu Obeid) expressed his wish that a helping hand would be extended to him and to find a job for him through which he could rebuild his life anew.

Reunion on Eid Al-Fitr

The Yak Al Aoun initiative, adopted by Emirates Today, Dubai Courts, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, seeks, for the second year in a row, to release prisoners from financially troubled citizens who are being prosecuted.
