Haikou Jiangdong New Area was established in June 2018 and is one of the 11 key parks of Hainan Free Trade Port.

The operating income of Haikou Jiangdong New Area will increase from 18.9 billion yuan in 2019 (the same below) to 227.2 billion yuan in 2021, with an average annual growth rate of 246%.
Taxes will increase from 700 million yuan in 2019 to 4.5 billion yuan in 2021, an average annual increase of 159%.
