Peng Wenhao said that in the future, the Shanghai Market Supervision Bureau will still focus its supervision on the price issues of people's livelihood commodities, epidemic prevention supplies and other fields that everyone is concerned about.

First, strengthen price supervision in key areas.

The Market Supervision Bureau will strengthen the supervision of the platform, requiring the Shanghai network operation platform to effectively implement the platform responsibility, strengthen the management of the business behavior of the merchants on the platform, and investigate the illegal activities on the platform.

At the same time, strengthen communication and linkage with villages and villages in the streets, towns and villages, strengthen the supervision of the price behavior of "community group buying" in response to the needs of people's living materials, use various means to regulate the price behavior of operators, and find clues to illegal activities in a timely manner.

Secondly, multi-channel mining price case clues.

In the early stage, information collection was strengthened through online social platforms, and more than 40 public opinions such as "high-priced potatoes", "99 yuan steamed buns", "78 yuan cabbage" and other public opinions were quickly organized and carried out verifications, which were basically completed within 24 hours. .

Next, we will continue to monitor closely, strengthen the inspection and inspection of relevant units, urge merchants not to disrupt the market price order, and require management parties such as vegetable markets and platforms to cooperate in stabilizing prices.

For illegal acts such as price gouging found in the investigation, if one is found, it will be investigated and punished strictly and quickly.

At present, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Post, the Development and Reform Commission and the Market Supervision Bureau will jointly take measures to further regulate the issue of the apparent rise in the prices of express delivery fees and errands that are concerned by the public.

Third, seriously handle public complaints and reports on price issues.

On the one hand, coordinate the handling in a timely manner to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers; on the other hand, organize the market supervision departments at all levels to carefully check the clues, and promptly file a case for investigation and punishment of the operators' price violations found during the check.

"Before, we investigated and dealt with a series of cases such as a supermarket misleading consumption of ordinary vegetables as supplying vegetables in Hong Kong. We identified and investigated the problems based on the complaints of citizens. Next, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau will continue to pay attention to consumers. appeals, and strive to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers." Peng Wenhao said.
