Zhongxiang Beam Making Factory is located in Niujiangang Village, Lengshui Town, Zhongxiang City, Jingmen City, Hubei Province. It is mainly responsible for the prefabrication of 556 simply supported box beams for the Shanghai-Chongqing High-speed Railway. The construction started on December 16, 2021, with a planned construction period of 19 months.
"The smooth prefabrication of the first box girders on the entire line has created favorable conditions for accelerating the construction of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu Railway." The Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed railway is the main part of the "Riverside Corridor" in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
